01 · Risk Acknowledgement
SEBI data (FY2024-25): 91% of Indian F&O traders lose money, with average net losses around ₹110,000 per trader. Algo trading does not change the underlying market risk — it only changes execution speed and consistency.
Past backtest performance does not guarantee future results. All strategies carry capital risk. You are responsible for the sizes you trade.
02 · White-box Classification
Every TradeBud strategy is white-box under SEBI's 2026 framework — you can see the complete rules, the source code, and the intermediate agent reasoning. Open any strategy and click View full logic to audit it before acting on any signal.
We do not operate any hidden "signal" services. We don't place orders on your broker. We don't custody funds.
03 · What We Are (and Aren't)
TradeBud is an AI charting tool. We are not an investment advisor (no SEBI IA registration). We are not a research analyst (SEBI RA application status is disclosed separately). We are not a tips provider: we do not sell stock tips, calls, or trading signals — not by subscription, not by Telegram, not by any channel, at any price.
We send no trading alerts at all. There is no Telegram channel, no SMS, no push notification that says buy or sell. Our strategy agents mark their levels and entries on a chart you choose to open and look at — nothing is pushed to you, and nothing asks you to act.
04 · Marketplace economy
TradeBud's marketplace enables traders to list educational strategies. Every sale flows through Cashfree Payments Gateway with an atomic 70/30 split — the seller's 70% lands directly in their bank account, and 30% is TradeBud's platform fee. TradeBud never holds seller funds; there is no wallet.
Listed strategies are for learning algorithmic trading patterns. They are not investment advice. Buyers are responsible for their own trading decisions and are advised to paper-trade any strategy before deploying capital.
All sellers complete onboarding with verified PAN and bank account before their listings go live. We store only the last-4 digits of each for reference; full details live at Cashfree.
No refunds are issued for marketplace purchases.
05 · Data Retention & Audit Trail
Per SEBI, algo-related records are retained for 5 years. Every script you generate, every backtest you run, every AI chart and agent verdict, and every marketplace transaction you make is logged with an immutable timestamp.

We do not connect to your broker
TradeBud has no broker integration. We do not ask for API keys, we do not hold OAuth tokens, we do not read your orders, positions or holdings, and we cannot place a trade. Every chart is built from market data, never from your account.
An earlier feature (“Shadow Twin”) did read order history under read-only scopes to analyse a trader's own behavioural patterns. It was withdrawn in August 2026 and is not offered to anyone. Stored credentials from that period remain encrypted and unused; request erasure at any time via the contact address above and we will wipe them.
If any third-party summary of TradeBud claims we connect to broker networks for execution, it is wrong. We are a charting tool.
